I am a picture book author from Indiana. I have a Ph.D. in Curriculum Studies, own an Etsy shop, and am a former teacher. My debut picture book, Grace and Box was published January 2021 by Feiwel and Friends, an imprint of Macmillan. Grace and Box was the winner of the 2022 Indiana Author’s Award in the Children’s category, was nominated for the Indiana Early Literacy Firefly award, and was selected to represent Indiana at the 2023 National Book Festival. My writing has been featured in places like Scary Mommy, Her View from Home, Edutopia, the Indianapolis Moms Collective, The Nerdy Book Club, and Imagination Soup. I live with with my family in southern Indiana and love coffee, being outside, and doing author visits to schools.
